The server-grade ICX610-C621A motherboard powered by Intel® Ice Lake platform is designed to deliver high scalability and exceptional fast computing capability. ICX610-C621 offers multiple expansions and enables high-performance computing, especially for AI workload, deep learning, and high-end inspection equipment, such as AOI, CT, and MRI applications.
The ICX610-C621A motherboard supports 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and is equipped with ultra-high speed computing that can support up to TDP 205W. The combination of Intel® Speed Select Technology (Intel® SST) can improve the controls for CPU performance, improving average performance by 1.46 times compared to the previous generation. The ICX610-C621A can optimize the performance of highly complex and heavy computing workloads.
With the acceleration by Deep Learning Boost (DL Boost) and Vector Neural Network Instructions (VNNI), the AI inference capabilities of ICX610-C621A has been improved by 1.56 times for image classification compared to the previous generation, improving the accuracy and reliability of production line and medical inspection device inference.
The new generation ICX610-C621A is designed for new generation, high-end devices. It is equipped with PCI Express 4.0 to provide 16GT/s transmission speeds and support ECC memory up to 512 GB 3200 MHZ, enhances high-end performance for advanced inspection equipment, and improves efficiency to develop empower 3D surgery training to develop mature smart surgical technologies.
For high precision computing devices for flaw detection and machine vision, the 10GLAN high-speed network can quickly handle the transmission of high-resolution images, accelerating M2M communication and further realizing true Industry 4.0 automation.
ICX610-C621A supports the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). The IPMI LAN and Board Management Control (BMC) out-of-band remote management equipment can help users remotely monitor, control, and automatically report the power capacity, temperature, fan speed, and other operating statuses of edge devices. Users can remotely install BIOS and update firmware with one click, greatly reducing the time and standby cost of maintenance personnel handling problems onsite.
The scalability of ICX610-C621A can allow the connection of more peripherals. Data transmission is realized through PCI Express Gen 4 to provide double the speed compared to the previous generation.
