Industry-leading Six-axis Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) Integration

Due to vehicle systems gradually moving toward centralization, VP070-M8M breaks away from the framework of most touchscreen computers in the past that could only receive and display information. Leading the industry by integrating IMU, it collects data such as vehicle status and driving behavior with the accelerometer and gyroscope combined. The VP070-M8M can also utilize transmission interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN Bus, and USB, or use the M.2 slot to expand functions such as Wi-Fi and 3G/4G networking, as well as exchange data internally and externally. With this design, the flexibility of users’ overall system planning is comprehensively enhanced.

Designed with Wide Temperature Range and Vibration Resistance for Stability

The driving environments of cars vary, and in-vehicle systems have extremely strict requirements when it comes to the ability to resist external environmental changes such as temperature and humidity. Great efforts were made toward the VP070-M8M to address this, especially in heat dissipation. Although it adopts a fan-less design, it can still operate normally in environments as high as 70 degrees Celsius. Combined with features such as IP65 water resistance and dust protection, E-Mark Certification, and military-grade shock resistance, as well as protection mechanisms such as smart power ignition control, the VP070-M8M demonstrates one of the industry’s best in stability, reliability, and adaptability to different environments.

VP070-MXM adopts the ARM architecture, multi-core NXP I.MX 8M processor, and the LPDDR4 DRAM which allows for expansion up to 4GB, to achieve high-performance computing up to 1.3GHz. Coupled with a 7-inch LCD touch display and supported by the easy-to-use Android 9.0 and Yocto 2.5 operating systems, it enhances the human-computer interaction experience.
