DFI today presents a new embedded microATX, HD310-Q87, to its cost-effective product line powered by the 4th generation Intel® Core™ Processor. To provide great data transferring bandwidth for improving graphics performance, this new desktop platform based on Intel® Q87 chipset is designed with 4 DDR3/DDR3L DIMM sockets that support up to 32GB. Aimed at specific applications that need to display high definition images, the onboard Intel HD Graphics engine delivers significant improvement in graphics performance via HDMI and DVI-I posts.
The HD310-Q87 also supports 5.1-channel High Definition Audio with S/PDIF audio interface and 2 Intel Gigabit LAN ports with increased transmission speed for network-intensive applications. This Intel® Q87-based microATX board not only enhances graphics performance and computing capability but provides improved I/O to fit various applications, including 6 COM ports, 12 USB ports, 6 SATA ports, 1 Parallel connector, 1 LPC connector for additional COM/Parallel ports, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. In addition, the expansion design of the desktop platform offers additional capabilities via 2 PCIe x16 slots (1 x16 and 1 x1 signal) and 1 PCIe x4 slot. This embedded board also supports Intel Active Management Technology (iAMT9.0) allowing IT or managed service providers to better discover, repair, and protect their networked computing assets.
For the purpose of meeting more requirements, DFI developed another Intel® Q87-based microATX motherboard: HD330-Q87. Different from HD310-Q87, this embedded board is designed with 1 PCIe x16, 1 PCIe x4 (1 x1 signal), 1 Mini PCIe, as well as 2 PCI. With more PCIe and PCI configurations, customers can expand system’s functionality and install graphics cards and other components into a system flexibly.
The HD310-Q87 with expansive features is a perfect product for a whole range of applications such as industrial control automation, medical equipment, gaming machine, telecom, POS, kiosk, and transportation.
