Machine Vision System is equipped with a vision sensor to provide imaging-based automatic inspection and analysis. The system can be used in automated production line for quality assurance, improving productivity, improving automated technical inspection, and measurement capability.

DFI’s Solution for Machine Vision System – EC320 Series

The industrial grade EC320 series is DFI’s fanless embedded system supporting the low-power and cost-efficient 3rd/2nd Intel Core processors. The system takes full advantage of the Intel QM77 chipset which is packed with high performance I/O capabilities to provide increased mobile computing and graphics performance. Remarkably, EC320 is designed with 2 PCI slots, 1 mini PCIe slot, and 1 optional riser card that supports 3G. 2 CCD machine vision cameras that utilize CCD chips for improved performance are connected to the system via USB ports. In order to provide precision motion control, a motion control card is also needed in the machine vision application. With the rich I/O interfaces and high-performance benefits, DFI’s intelligent system is well suited for all kinds of imaging-based automatic applications.
