This week, the malicious “WannaCrypt” software attacked hundreds of thousands of computers across 74 different countries. It encrypted their files, which they can no longer access, and demands payment in bitcoin in order to regain access. If you're running the supported versions of Windows (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 or aging versions) that the WannaCrypt targeted, we highly suggest you to install the updates for Windows as soon as possible to protect your systems. To offer better customers’ experiences and reduce the risk of malicious attacks, DFI’s newly released OS images will be pre-installed with the security update.
