DFI, a leading manufacturer offering a wide range of embedded products for diversified industrial applications, today unveils two Mini-ITX motherboards - HU101 and HU103. Powered by the latest Intel ULT platform, these two motherboards feature good performance, high speed I/O, and low-power consumption at only 15W. In addition, the enhanced Intel HD graphics GT series integrated in the processor projects 24% performance increase over its previous generation.
The HU101 and HU103 provide 2 DDR3L SODIMM sockets that support up to 16GB and support 3 independent displays via 2 HDMI and 1 LVDS/eDP. The two Mini-ITX industrial motherboards are packed with flexible I/O, including 2 LAN ports, 4 COM ports, 10 USB ports, 1 vertical USB, 3 SATA 3.0 ports with RAID 0/1/5, 1 LPC connector for additional COM/Parallel ports, 1 SMBus connector for system management communications, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. In addition, the upgraded Intel Active Management Technology 9.5 (iAMT) allows IT or managed service providers to discover, manage, repair and protect the networked computing assets more easily.
The two boards differ in that HU101 provides 1 12V DC-in jack (default) while the HU103 provides 1 19~24V DC-in jack (default) in order to provide additional options to customers. All these advantages let the two Mini-ITX motherboards accommodate to a wide range of embedded applications, especially in space-limited environments requiring flexible I/O, superior performance, and low power consumption, such as industrial automation, 24-hour operating intelligent ATM and POS systems.
DFI is focused on developing a complete fourth Generation Intel Core U-series product line to meet different requirements, such as Mini-ITX, COM Express and 3.5" SBC. With the design of high performance at low power, these embedded boards are the best solution for all kinds of industrial applications.
Why is ULT platform an ideal choice for a wide range of applications?
> SoC design provides low power consumption as Atom platform
> Lower cost than Mobile platform but offers similar performance
> Supports iAMT and RAID as the QM series of Mobile Platform
> High-end integrated graphics matches most of industrial requirements
