DFI Unveils 6 New Board-Level Products Based on the Low Power Intel® Atom™ Processor E3800 Product Family

DFI®, a leading provider offering a wide range of products for diversified industrial applications, today launches five new mini-ITX industrial motherboards and one embedded SBC. The BT100, BT101, BT103, BT160, BT161, and BT551 come with the Intel® Atom™ processor E3800 product family, providing low power consumption and substantially better performance than previous generation Intel® Atom™ processors. This unique equipment delivers excellent graphical capabilities; computing, media and a built-in security engine — all on a sub-10-watt system-on-chip (SoC), making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial designs such as medical electronics, telecommunications, and other embedded applications.

 

DFI® 6 new industrial boards are equipped with the Intel® HD Graphics accelerated graphics processing taking advantage of shared last-level cache. These boards come with two display output interfaces, including 1 VGA and 1 LVDS allowing you to fit the different requirement.

 

The six new industrial boards are also equipped with two 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM sockets support up to 8GB at 1333/1066 MHz for faster communication between components. In addition, these boards also provide flexible I/O, including two Intel® Gigabit LAN controllers in order to increase transmission speed for network-intensive applications, two SATA 2.0 ports with data transfer rate up to 3Gb/s, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. With the flexible I/O providing increased computing and graphics performance, the six new boards allow your system to process more data load and provide faster loading of frequently used applications. The expansion design of these five industrial motherboards also offer various PCIe configurations, including 1 PCIe x1 slot and 1 Mini PCIe slot. DFI’s proprietary ECX interface on BT160 and BT161 provides additional I/O expansion to fit your specific requirements.

 

DFI’s six new industrial boards, BT100, BT101, BT103, BT160, BT161, and BT551 are ideal choices for customers’ applications requiring a stable revision-controlled platform, such as medical electronics, industrial control, security & surveillance, telecommunications, ATM, and POS.
